THE LODGE EXPERIENCE
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Do I need a hunting license?
Yes, a valid Texas hunting license and appropriate stamps are required. We can help point you in the right direction — just ask.
What should I bring?
Weather-appropriate hunting clothes, sturdy boots, your personal gear, and any required licenses or tags. We'll send a full packing list once your dates are set.
Are guides included?
Yes. An experienced guide who knows the property is part of every hunt to help you make the most of your time in the field.
Can non-hunters come?
Absolutely. Non-hunting guests are welcome to enjoy the lodge, the meals, and the outdoors — just let us know so we can plan for everyone.
Is alcohol allowed?
Yes, responsibly. We ask that alcohol be enjoyed after the day's hunting is done — never in the field or around firearms.
How do you handle the harvest?
We take pride in an ethical, respectful harvest and help you care for your game from the field back to the lodge.
What is the cancellation policy?
Plans change — reach out as early as you can and we'll do our best to work with you. Contact us for the current deposit and cancellation details.
Do you offer meat processing?
We don't offer on-site processing, but we do offer animal transportation to the meat market and taxidermist. Just ask and we'll take care of the details.
Is the lodge kid-friendly?
Yes. The lodge is a great place for families, and we welcome young hunters and guests. Let us know their ages so we can make everyone comfortable.
