About Us

 Chip Thompson, and his wife of 14 years, Mendi own and operate Thompson Hunting Lodge. A 15,000 acre, high and low fence hunting area. With a 4,800 square foot 10 room lodge, located in South Texas. We are fourth generation cattle ranchers, that make a living farming and ranching. We grew up living off the land and we have been hunting our whole life. We have always enjoyed hunting, and dreamed of someday owning a lodge. Being as blessed as we are, and given that opportunity we wanted to share that with the rest of the world. We pride

 We have comfortable amenities. A wide variety of hunting packages, and some of the finest game in Texas. We have deer, hogs, and exotics such as Rambouillet sheep, Corsican rams, and Scimitar oryx. If your curious about our game you can find a list on our species page.
